Quinton “Q” Perry had a way of making life a little brighter for everyone around him. He was quick with a joke, fiercely loyal to the people he loved, and always ready for his next adventure. Behind his sarcasm and contagious laughter was a genuinely kind heart that made people feel welcome, valued, and included.
In June 2023, Q traveled to Costa Rica with his high school Spanish program, an experience that left a lasting impression on him. He returned home embracing the words Pura Vida—a reminder to live fully, appreciate the moment, and find joy in the journey.
Today, Pura Vida – The Quinton Perry Travel Scholarship carries his spirit of adventure forward, helping other students discover the world, create meaningful connections, and experience the kind of life-changing journey Q loved.
Our Mission
The Quinton Perry Travel Scholarship exists to honor the life and adventurous spirit of Quinton by helping students experience the cultural and personal growth that comes through international travel. Through this scholarship, we hope to give students the opportunity to step beyond what is familiar, embrace another culture, create lifelong memories, and discover what it means to live Pura Vida.
